The owners of Brownie Box in Old Brompton Road came to us looking for a high quality, stylish front counter system having remembered us from Caffe Culture the year before. Following a successful wholesale model in South Africa, they decided to open a retail shop in London selling their famous brownies and cupcakes as well as some familiar favourites. With our skill and experience in coffee shop equipment and layout design, we completely changed their initial layout thoughts, showing them the major benefits of moving the modular display from the back of the shop to an L-shape Modular Display and Counter System at the front to help draw in more business. For the perfect Bakery Display they opted for the Modular Siena, with a full glazed corner with display on either side which creates an unmisable and mouth-watering display of cakes from the street level. We teamed the Modular Siena with matching mirrored Wall Displays and a coffee machine wall unit complete with Extraction. For their juice bar service we recommended our stainless steel Modular Back Bar System, with knock out draws, shelving and a sufficient work surface for their juice machine. This compact back bar counter utilises their back bar counter space and also enables staff to provide a quicker and more efficient service, as everything is within easy reach. If this wasn’t enough we also supplied them with stainless steel tabling for the kitchen and Frozen Storage. After only a couple of weeks of opening, trade is running at over half of what they expect in the long run. No doubt Brownie Box will be a name to keep an eye on!
