4 Hot Interior Design Styles for Your Coffee Shop

4 Hot Interior Design Styles for Your Coffee Shop

Hospitality interior design is ever changing with the emergence of new styles and trends. Below we take a look at the materials, colours and techniques we can expect to see in coffee shop interior design for 2017:

1) Warm Metals

Restaurant and coffee shop interior design could see an increase in the use of metals, specifically rose gold or gold. Mixing between warm and cold metals such as copper and silver can create added contrast whilst being bold enough to draw in attention. Alternatively, designers could work with one type of metal but in abundance from fixtures to whole panel finishes for a more standout approach.

2) Navy Blues

Whilst the official Pantone colour of the year is Greenery, Navy Blue is thought to be just as popular given its versatility to sit well against other colours. Navy blue can be complimented with softer colours including cream, grey and pink to create a balance of different moods.

3) Irregular Patterns

Flooring with fluid and irregular patterns can help to break up heavy grids in coffee shops and restaurants. Using a combination of flooring styles also works well to highlight specific sections of your establishment from the service to dining areas, creating clear routes for staff and customers.

4) Smoked Glass

Smoked glass introduces a sense of mystery to spaces and can also be used to create different zones for your coffee shop or restaurant. Alongside being a viable material to establish privacy, smoked glass can intrigue consumers and add depth to your site.
